Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Jaime received her Associates in Applied Science in Occupational Therapy Assisting graduating with high honors from Northwood Technical College in 2024. Jaime's personal experiences through her children are what drew her to the field of Occupational Therapy. She is passionate about helping children and their families do the things that are important to them and supporting their growth and independence while having fun!  Prior to pursuing a career in the field of Occupational Therapy Jaime has experience working in school districts and as a preschool teacher in a childcare setting. In fieldwork Jaime gained experience working in mental health settings working with adolescent populations, as well as inpatient and outpatient physical rehabilitation settings. Outside of work Jaime enjoys spending time with her 2 children and husband. She loves being outdoors, watching sports, painting, baking, and volunteering her time supporting the diversified sporting activities her child participates in including Minnesota Special Hockey, and Special Olympics.
