Leah Hedrix COTA/L
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
Leah earned her Associates in Applied Science in Occupational Therapy Assisting with honors from Brown Mackie College in 2015. Leah has experience working in a variety of settings but has primarily worked in pediatric outpatient settings. Leah is passionate about working with children and families to overcome challenges and create powerful and nurturing relationships. Leah has extensive training in respiration, postural control and development, sensory processing, and trauma-informed care. Leah also enjoys practicing yoga and completed her 200-hour Vinyasa teacher training in 2019. Leah loves using her creativity and adaptability to engage clients in meaningful and play-based activities. She is passionate about helping parents, caregivers, and families as she grew up with a sister that had complex special needs. Outside of work, Leah enjoys spending time outside with her family, biking, swimming, and skydiving.
