She has specialized in approaches to facilitate sensory processing for clients of all ages. Nancy's experience with her own children’s health challenges led her to pursue an understanding of how biomedical issues (allergies, digestion, yeast, heavy metals) impact a child’s development including such challenges as poor attention, poor motor control, and an inability to maintain a calm state. She was co-director of Camp Avanti—St. Croix which was a special therapy camp for children with sensory processing challenges. She continues her support of this camp model now operating as Camp Avanti—Icagowan. She speaks nationally and internationally on sensory processing and craniosacral therapy/ myofascial release.  She is a Berard Auditory Integration Training instructor.  Nancy worked with and served on the non-profit board of Red Thread Charities which worked with orphanages in China, assisting the rehabilitation program development for their special needs children.
