Evaluation

Thorough evaluation of the child's sensory processing strengths and vulnerabilities gives core information, which helps us tailor home program and/or therapy programs to specifically address your child's needs.

We will also look at the integrity of: connective tissue, the need for auditory programs, the status of respiration, and oral motor skills and make recommendations for both traditional and non-traditional interventions depending on your child's profile and testing results.

The evaluation process would include a sensory motor history, parent/caregiver interview, child observation, and formal testing. Nancy Lawton-Shirley is certified to administer the Sensory Integration and Praxis Test.
Intensive Program

Our 5 -10 day intensive occupational therapy programs are tailored to the child's needs, with the possibility of using all modalities available through Points of Stillness.

This program can be paid for through private insurance or private pay. The intensive program consists of five or ten 2 hour consecutive sessions. At the end of the intensive your child will receive a tailored therapeutic home program to meet their individualized needs designed by the experts.
